NWN in Numbers
• Since 2018, NWN has directly served over 20,000 beneficiaries across Lebanon.
• In 2024, over 5,351 individuals received healthcare across NWN’s centers.
• In 2023–2024, NWN organized over 39 health days across public and private schools in rural areas to deliver preventive care, screenings, and health education to over 2,300 students, many of whom are refugees or from vulnerable host communities.
• In 2023, NWN conducted 16 free health days for 901 beneficiaries, with a total of 9084 medical examinations.
• In response to the 2020 Beirut Port Explosion and the 2024 mass displacement crisis, NWN’s “Together We Are Stronger” Campaign addressed the needs of over 1600 displaced individuals by providing healthcare, education, and mental health services across Lebanon.
• The TAKREEM Elderly Lounge, launched in 2023, has supported 50+ elderly and 20 students.
• In 2025, the Hasbaya center covered 1962 beneficiaries.
• In 2024, the Aley center covered 1,758 beneficiaries
• The Semkanieh center saw a 1317% growth from 2023 to 2024 (from 227 beneficiaries to 3,218 beneficiaries), and reached 1266 beneficiaries in 2025
• All in all, NWN has provided 16,000+ medical examinations and services and 20+ yearly community events, contributing to the improved well-being of over 20,000 beneficiaries.
Community and Youth Programs
• The Youth Activism for Lebanese Accountability (YALA!) project empowered six cohorts, totaling 120 youth in rural areas, to play a more active role in local governance and community development.
• The HOPES project focused on teaching English to the most vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian students to overcome language barriers in higher education.
• The Young Med Voices project allowed the development of skills and opportunities for youth-led debate and supported over 60 youth to contribute to public policy and shape media discourses.
• The Youth Tech Builders (YTB) project offered youth technical engineering training.
• The Youth Empowerment for Success (YES) project helped create 100 jobs for youth (71% of whom were refugees), with 75% of participants either paired with recruiters or started freelancing work.
• In 2026, the Democracy Academy for Lebanese Youth (DALY) at NWN is empowering 70+ youth from rural Lebanon with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to actively participate in democratic life and assume leadership roles at both the local and national levels.
NWN has secured numerous grants from various international and national entities, including the WHO, European Commission, the US Embassy, British Council, MADAD for Women, Anera, National Democratic Institute (NDI), and European Endowment for Democracy (EED).
