The Director General of guidance and direction, Hilda Khoury, participated in the dialogue meeting organized by the Modern University for Management and Sciences (MUBS) and the National Wellness Network (NWN), within the framework of the YALA program funded by the NDI Association, which aims to enhance the capabilities of young people in advocacy and communicating their ideas to decision-makers.

The meeting included a discussion table to discuss the issue of developing the capacities of teachers in public schools, due to its positive impact on students.

 The roundtable was attended by the principal of Mimis Public School, Jihan Abu Saad, researcher in educational affairs, Maya Maddah, journalist and producer at MTV Elsi Mufarrej, Dr. Nina Zaidan, Dean of the Faculty of Health at the Modern University for Management and Sciences, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration Andre Azoury, and Director of Operations at the National Care Network. Zina Halawi, Director of Public Relations at the university, Hikmat Daou, and the organizers of the program.

The dialogue table was opened with the words of each of the program coordinator, Dr. Firas Azzam, introducing the guests to the debates and Diana Maddah, the director of the YALA program in the National Network for Welfare, explaining the goals of the program. Then Isamar Safa and Ghiwa Abu Kansour presented, on behalf of the participants and participants in the campaign, the work plan and the results of the research that they prepared in addition to the background of the campaign and its goals.

Mrs. Hilda Khoury spoke and focused on the challenges facing the educational sector in Lebanon at various levels and fields, praising the awareness and spirit of initiative among the young women and men of the campaign and discussed with them the best ways to implement their project, giving her approval to implement a preliminary experience of the project in five schools within the regions of Rashaya and Hasbaya.

 Mrs. Jihan Abu Saad also spoke about the reality of public schools considering the current crises, and Ms. Maya Maddah talked about a study she conducted documenting the needs of male and female teachers in public schools in Bekaa. Dr. Nina Zeidan also stressed the importance of motivating students in the educational process. Mrs. Elsi Mufarrej also expressed her support for the campaign through the Advocacy Academy and the media coverage of all its activities.

شاركت المديرة العامة للإرشاد والتوجيه هيلدا خوري في اللقاء الحواري الذي نظمته الجامعة الحديثة للإدارة والعلوم (MUBS) والشبكة الوطنية للرعاية (NWN)، ضمن إطار برنامج  YALA  الممول من جمعية  NDIوالهادف الى تعزيز قدرات الشياب في المناصرة وايصال أفكارهم لصانعي القرار.

وتضمن اللقاء طاولة حوارية للبحث في موضوع تطوير قدرات المدرسين في المدارس الرسمية لما في ذلك من انعكاس إيجابي على التلامذة وهو موضوع اقترحته و تعمل عليه مجموعة من الشابات والشبان المنضوين تحت حملة " T.E.A.C.H. "

 
وشارك في الطاولة المستديرة مديرة مدرسة ميمس الرسمية جيهان أبو سعد، الباحثة في الشؤون التربوية مايا مداح، الصحافية والمنتجة في قناة MTV  ألسي مفرج، عميدة كلية الصحة  في الجامعة الحديثة للإدارة والعلوم الدكتورة نينا زيدان وعميد كلية إدارة الأعمال أندريه عازوري ومديرة العمليات في الشبكة الوطنية للرعاية زينة حلاوي ومديرة العلاقات العامة في الجامعة حكمت ضو والقيمين على البرنامج.

وكانت الطاولة الحوارية افتتحت بكلمات كل من منسق البرنامج الدكتور فراس عزام معرفا" عن الضيوف المتحاورين ومديرة برنامج YALA في الشبكة الوطنية للرعاية ديانا مداح مبينة أهداف البرنامج. ثم عرضت ايسامار صفا وغوى أبو قنصور بإسم المشاركات والمشاركين في الحملة خطة العمل ونتائج الأبحاث التي قاموا باعدادها بالإضافة الى خلفيات الحملة وأهدافها.

وتحدثت السيدة هيلدا خوري، فركزت على التحديات التي تواجه القطاع التعليمي في لبنان على مختلف المستويات والمجالات، مثنية على وعي وروح المبادرة عند شابات وشبان الحملة وناقشت معهم السبل الأمثل لتطبيق مشروعهم مانحة موافقتها على تطبيق تجربة أولية للمشروع في خمس مدارس ضمن منطقتي راشيا وحاصبيا.

 
كما تحدثت السيدة جيهان أبو سعد عن واقع المدارس الرسمية في ظل الأزمات الراهنة والسيدة مايا مداح عن دراسة أجرتها توثق حاجات المعلمات والمعلمين في مدارس رسمية بقاعية. كما وشددت الدكتورة نينا زيدان على أهمية تحفيز الطلاب في العملية التعليمية. كما وعبرت السيدة ألسي مفرج عن دعمها للحملة من خلال أكاديمية المناصرة والتغطية الإعلامية لكل نشاطاتها.
