ISB & NWN Empower LIC Staff with Training on Effective School Leadership
The International School of Business (ISB) at the Modern University for Business and Science (MUBS), in collaboration with the National Wellness Network (NWN), organized a training session on April 12, 2024, at the Lebanese International College (LIC). This initiative was organized under the National Education Platform Initiative (NEP) with the objective of equipping LIC administrative staff with valuable knowledge and skills necessary for effective school leadership.
The training session titled “Enhancing Management, Communication, and Customer Service Skills for Schools” was delivered by Mrs. Razan Baradhi, Acting Chairperson of the Management Department at ISB. It focused on the challenges in school management and explored the principles of educational management. The training also emphasized essential managerial skills, effective communication strategies, and time management techniques, with interactive activities and games incorporated to enhance participants’ understanding.
Furthermore, there was an emphasis on promoting effective communication with parents in education. Practical strategies and communication tips were offered to schools to engage effectively with parents, recognizing the crucial role they play in their children's education. The aim was to foster a collaborative and supportive environment between schools and parents.
This collaboration between ISB, NWN, and LIC showcased a commitment to fostering effective school leadership and promoting positive engagement between schools and parents. By equipping LIC staff with essential skills and knowledge, the event aimed to enhance the school's progress and success, ultimately benefiting students and the entire LIC community.
This event is aligned with MUBS’s commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships to Achieve the Goals).
