The National Wellness Network (NWN) - Aley Branch, established by the Modern University for Business and Science, organized a health campaign entitled "The Health of our Elderly and Youth" in Baaleshmayh on 22 - 23 June 2018. Over 200 people participated in the campaign which was sponsored by the Municipality of Baaleshmayh and Mountada Al Ahli Al Ijtimaa’I .

The two-day campaign included recreational activities for adults as well as free medical examinations conducted by specialists from the NWN team and public health physicians. The second day included recreational activities for children with special needs.  Awareness seminars were held on nutrition and optical vision and a pediatrician examined the children.
