NWN Hosts a Free Medical Day in Ras Al Matn
“Good health and good sense are two of life’s greatest blessings.” —Publilius Syrus
The National Wellness Network (NWN) and the Makrami Solidarity Association, in collaboration with Al- Matn's Progressive Youth Organization, Mar Youssef Medical Clinic at Deir Al Harf, and the "Kindness is Everywhere" association, organized a free medical day for nearly 150 patients at Ras Al Matn.
This event included consultations with General Medicine Specialist Dr. Marwan Obeid, Pediatrician Dr. Maha Mahmoud, Dermatologist Dr. Fadi Chaaban, and Orthodontist Dr. Nidal Makarem. Patients were also able to receive medicine from NWN and Mar Youssef Medical Clinic, as well as Body Composition Analysis with Dietitian Ms. Hitaf Makarem and vision tests with Optometrist Ms. Dana Allaham. Furthermore, the Makrami Solidarity Association sponsored the event by offering free blood tests (HB1AC, LDL, HDL, and CBC), while JB Medical Services Lab provided 50% off other blood tests. Moreover, the "Kindness is everywhere" association provided patients with baby diapers, milk, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and other similar items. Consequently, the goal of the medical day was to improve the community's well-being by providing health services to all patients and the basic necessities that every child deserves.
